This book is a fascinating history of German Zeppelin airships and the bombing raids they conducted across eastern England during the First World War. There are personal accounts and memories of bombing raids as seen from the ground, excerpts from Zeppelin log books, details of specific operations and the damage caused by the air raids and bombings, the efforts by the British military to combat the Zeppelin threat, and information on the fate of the various air ships that crashed and were brought down during the war.
There are lots of small black and white photographs in amongst the text.
The condition of the book is generally very good. The covers have one or two very minor scuffs but are clean and bright, the spine is tight and intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound
