Rectangular Hardback - c.18.5cm by 25cm (S7626YWSO)This book is a fascinating collection of photographs showing the XIX London Regiment, and includes 16 pages of black and white photographs (one to each page). The photographs all date from the end of the First World War to the time of publication (1935), and in addition to the photo's there is a brief 2 page history of the regiment as well as a list of Commanding Officers of the regiment from the current CO all the way back to 1799.
The condition of the book is generally ok. The dark green cover boards are bowed slightly towards the middle, and have some scuffs and blemishes, and some light bubbling, bumping and wear along the edges and corners, but the spine is intact, and all pages are intact and bound. There is a very small area of wear o the left hand edge of the last page, and light yellowing to the inside pages throughout.
