Wymondham is a small market town in Norfolk, and this book provides a fascinating history of the development of the town in the 19th century, through the use of maps and accompanied text. The book reproduces sections of many historic maps of the area such as the Tithe Map and the Enclosure Map, those by Faden and Bryant and specially drawn ones illustrating aspects of life in the town and its growth during the century, and they cover subjects such as the major landowners, the division of the Commons, Schools, Churches, Crime, Public Houses, Industry, and Housing.

The condition of the book is generally very good. The covers are clean and bright, the spine is tight and intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small price sticker on the rear side cover
