This short booklet provides a brief account of the naval career of William Woolcock, which took place during the Napoleonic Wars. William joined the Royal Navy in 1801, serving on tyhe 38 gun Revolutionnaire (a captured French warship), before going on to serve on the Royal Navy warships Dryad, Minotaur (where he took part in the Battle of Trafalgar), Africa, Amaranthe, and Grampus.
