Where the Price is Right, by G. Bryant, subtitled 'The story of the New Zealanders who won the Victoria Cross'

Book published by Collins in 1972, 181 pages. Hardback with Dust Jacket (S7193)

This book tells the story of the 29 men from New Zealand that have won the Victoria Cross in the service of the British Crown (up to the early 1970's). The first recipient won the VC fighting the Maoris in New Zealand itself, and the second man to be given the award won it fighting in South Africa during the Boer War. The rest won their awards in the First and Second World Wars, and include men who served in the Royal Flying Corps, fought on the Somme and at Gallipoli, and who saw action during WW2 in Crete.

Condition of the book is good. The dust jacket has some minor scuffs, and some nibblign and wear along the edges and corners, but the spine is tight and intact and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a very small bookshop label on the inside front cover, and some very light yellowing to the inside page edges throughout
