From the rear side cover: Ocklynge Cemetery in Eastbourne contains the graves of over 170 men and women who died as a result of the two World Wars. The cemetery is interesting as the graves are for people of different ranks and different nationalities. There are graves for local service personnel and for servicemen from Australia, Belgium and Brazil. Many are marked by a commonwealth war grave. This booklet tells the story of the cemetery and the creation of the Imperial War Graves Commission during the Great War. The text takes the form of a guided walk around the cemetery highlighting some of the war graves and the stories associated with them.
Condition of the booklet is generally very good. The cover is clean and tidy, the staple spine is tight and intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small price sticker on the rear side cover
