This short booklet provides a fascinating brief history of Walthamstow village, which is now of course part of East London. There are sections on the early settlements and roads, the development of Church End, the Ancient House, the Monoux Almshouses, Vestry House, Squires Almshouses, the old fire station, the Nags Head pub, the old town hall, and more!
Condition of the booklet is excellent. The covers are clean and tidy, the spine is intact, and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small price sticker on the rear side cover
