From the title page: A list of Volunteer Corps together with their Officers, Headquarters, Uniforms and Facings. This list was first published in 1881 as part of 'The Volunteer Force History and Manual' by James Walter, published by William Clowes & Son Ltd. of 13 Charing Cross.

The condition of the booklet is generally ok. The booklet was originally bound with a spiral binding, but this has been removed, the pages then stapled together and bound with a removable plastic spine bar. Their is a label sellotaped onto the outside spine of the bar. Inside, all pages are clean, unblemished and intact.
