This book includes 12 pages of photographs (one per page, printing on one side of the page only) showing views of the Cumbrian village of Alston and the surrounding area.

Apart from the photographs there is no other text or contents - including no title page.

The condition of the book is generally poor. The covers have several scuffs and blemishes, and considerable bumping and wear along the edges and corners. Inside, the spine is intact and all pages are intact and bound. The staple binding is worn along the inside front cover and title page, and there is considerable yellowing to the inside covers and first and last pages.
