This booklet provides an excellent brief assessment of letters written between Friedrich Engels and Laura Marx and her husband (Paul Lafargue). Laura was one of the daughters of Karl Marx, and both she and her husband were important figures in the European revolutionary movement. Incidentaly, both were financially supported through much of their lives by Engels, and when he died in 1895 they inherited a large amount of money from him. They committed suicide together in 1911......
Condition of the booklet is excellent. The cover is clean and tidy (with one or two very minor scuffs and creases along the edges), the spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. Their is an old price printed on the front cover
