Ted Madgwick joined the Royal canadian Navy in 1934. His early training was conducted with the Royal Navy and in due course he specialised in Gunnery: warteime service in the North Atlantic and Norwegian sea followed. In 1951 he saw action in the Korean Campaign, for which he was awarded the DSC, and over his career he served in a number of ships, as well as commanding HMC Ships Haida, Huron and Micmac.

Condition of the book is generally very good. The cover has one or two very minor scuffs but is clean and bright, the spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound
