From the introduction: Although largely ignored by the 'mainstream' histories of the Civil War, the events in Pembrokeshire between 1642 - 1645 had an important bearing on the Parliamentarian and Royalist strategies. When one looks at the Second Civil War, the importance is even more marked. The Parliamentarians were faced with dissent in the Army, Royalist insurrections and a Scottish invasion of England. The last thing they wanted was rebellion in Wales, especially as the "Rebel's" had held the county for Parliament during the First Civil War. In fact Pembrokeshire was the only stronghold of Parliament in Wales during the First Civil War....
The condition of the booklet is generally very good. The cover has some minor scuffs, but the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
