The Shops Act, 1912, explained and annotated by James Keith
Subtitled 'With the regulations Issued by the Secretary for Scotland and the Provisions of the Factory and Workshop Act 1901, incorporated thereunder'.

Published by William Green & Sons in 1912, 120 pages. Hardback (S8295FWSO)

From the preface: The Shops Act, 1912, imposes legal obligations of an extensive nature on a large section of the community, and lays upon local authorities increased duties of administration. This is perhaps the best excuse for the publication of this handbook on the Act.

The condition of the book is generally ok. The cover boards have several scuffs and bubbling, and rubbing, bumping and wear along the edges and corners. Inside, the spine is intact and all pages are intact and tightly bound. There is some light yellowing to the inside pages throughout.
