This short booklet offers an excellent brief introduction to the history of the railway in Teignmouth, a small town situated on the River Teign estuary in southern Devon. The railway was originally built in the mid 19th century by the South Devon Railway, and was later taken over by the Great Western Railway in 1876.
The booklet is illustrated throughout with several black and white photographs and drawings
The condition of the booklet is generally very good. The cover has one or two very minor scuffs but is clean and tidy, the staple spine is intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
