This privately published A4 size booklet tells the story of public transport around Mousehole from the First World War until the retirement of the last of the local operators in the 1980's. It tells the story of those who owned, drove and rode in the early vehicles and records a way of life in West Cornwall now changed forver. Sections include: Map of the Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole area, the Start of Motor Buses, The Route and the People, Running the Service, Widening Horizons, and Lists of Vehicles operated by Messrs. Harvey, Hitchens and JL Hitchens. The booklet is illustrated throughout with several small black and white photographs

The condition of the booklet is generally very good. The card covers are clean and bright, the staple binding is tight and intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small price sticker on the rear side cover.
