This booklet was first published in the 1980's, and it provides a fascinating history of the Portessie Branch of the Highland Railway, which ran from Keith to Portessie and stopped at Aultmore, Enzie, Drybridge, Rathven and Buckie along the way. The first section opened in the 1880s, and the line operated for several decades until it was closed as part of Beechings cuts in the 1960's. Sections in the booklet include:

The condition of the booklet is generally very good. The covers are clean and bright, the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
