Booklet published by the Trojan Museum Trust, 32 pages. Slim A5 size paperback (N6390)

Trojan was a small British vehicle manufacturer, and produced vehicles from around the time of the First World War up until the period after the Second World War. In addition to building cars, the company also produced light commercial vehicles, and this short booklet provides a brief account of the Post Office's purchase of several such vans in the 1920's to serve as mail delivery vehicles.

From the rear side cover: Paul Wood takes us through the GPO's early experiences and trials with mechanised postal delivery. Showing us clearly the circumstances which led to the introduction of the Trojan GPO vans. Before looking at details of the Trojan fleet and his fathers part in their story.

The booklet includes several small black and white photographs showing the vehicles themselves

The condition of the booklet is generally excellent. The covers are clean and bright, the spine is tight and intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is an old price printed and a small price sticker, both on the rear side cover.
