Published by Robert D. Hanson in 1986, 352 pages. Hardback with Dust Jacket - c.22cm by 28.5cm (A13GWSOCHX1A43)
This book is a history of the United States Army Air force 428th Fighter Squadron. Illustrated throughout with lots of black and white photographs, it charts the history of the squadron during the Second World War, the operations flown and the pilots and aircraft that served.
The condition of the book is generally good. The dust jacket is very grubby and worn, with considerable scuffs, creases, marks and blemishes, and further yellowing & wear along the edges and corners, but the red cover boards are clean and bright, the spine is intact and all pages are intact and tightly bound. There is considerable foxing and yellowing to the outside page leaves and first and last few inside pages.
