Written and produced by the author as a Dissertation at the University of Nottingham in June 1994, 47 pages (text and page numbers on one side only). A4 size booklet (A29KWSO)
This booklet provides a history of Nottingham's lunatic asylum, which opened in February 1812 and closed 90 years later (the site where it stood is now Kind Edward Park). The booklet includes several illustrations.
The condition of the booklet is generally ok. The covers have some minor scuffs, but the plastic spine bar binds all the printed pages, and the pages themselves are intact and unblemished. Please note it was printed & produced privately, and so lacks the finish of a professional publication - but this in no way detracts from the fascinating contents!
