The Flixborough disaster was an explosion at a chemical plant near to the village of Flixborough in June 1974, which killed 28 people. Flixborough is situated a few miles from Scunthorpe in North Linciolnshire, and this booklet provides a brief account of the explosion, as well as looking at the causes of the disaster. It then goes on to assess what lessons can be learnt by the labour and trade union movement in making sure disasters like this don't happen again.....

Condition of the booklet is generally good. The cover has some minor scuffs and wear, but the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
