This booklet provides a fascinating history of the Cinemas in York, and is illustrated throughout with lots of black and white photographs, as well as ten pages of drawings showing the floor plans of various cinemas. Their is information on the Theatre Royal, the Electric Theatre, the Scala, the Picture House, the Grand, the Tower, the City Picture Palace, the Odeon, St Georges Hall, the Regal, the Regent, and more!
Please note the booklet was published by a local cinema history society, and so lacks the 'finish' of a more proffessional publication. But this in no way detracts from the fascinating and detailed information it contains!
Condition of the booklet is generally good. The cover has one or two minor scuffs, but the spiral binding is tight and intact, and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
