Booklet published by Stuart Press, 36 pages. A5 size booklet (N6642)
From the introduction: The battle of Langport (July lOth, 1645) rather than the better known engagement fought a month previously at Naseby, probably marked the real end of any hope of a Royalist recovery in the First Civil War. It saw the effective destruction of the last major Royalist field army, and opened the way for Parliament's New Model Army to begin mopping up the King's remaining strongholds. Contents include:
Introduction
Preliminaries
The Campaign Begins
The Battle
Aftermath
The Armies
The Royalist Army
The Parliamentarian Army

The condition of the booklet is generally very good. The cover has one or two minor scuffs, but the staple spine is intact, and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small price sticker on the rear side cover.
