St George's National Schhol - Llandudno

Booklet published by the Llandudno Seaside Buildings Preservation Trust in 2003, 48 pages. A5 size booklet (S5655)

Llandudno is a seaside resort and town in Conwy in North Wales. The town is situated just off the North Wales Coast railway line, and was specifically built as a Victorian era seaside resort, when the railways began to open up coastal areas as holiday destinations for the working classes of the great industrial cities.

St George's School was built and opened in the town in 1846, and has been an important historical building in the seaside resort. This booklet charts the history of the school, and it's restoration over the last several years (culminating in 2003, when this booklet was published)

This booklet includes lots of colour and black and white photographs, and will delight anyone who has lived or grown up in Llandudno, as well as people with a more general interest in the social history of North Wales....

Condition of the book is generally good. The cover has one or two minor scuffs and blemishes, and some light wear along the edges, but the staple spine is intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
