Sopwiths to Sunderlands, 210 Squadron 1917-1941, by John Evans

Book published by Paterchurch in 1999, 80 pages. Large A4 size softback (N6942)

From the rear side cover: This book traces the history of 210 squadron of the Royal Air Force, from its origins as 10 Squadron of the Royal Naval Air Service in the First World War through a long period operating a succession of flying boats - Southamptons, Rangoons, Singapores and Sunderlands, all the way up to April 1941, when it was re-equipped with Catalinas. There is also a chapter on the post war operation of land based maritime aircraft and one which details the survival story of wartime Sunderland Ogwyn George.

The book is illustrated throughout with lots of black and white photographs, many showing the aircraft and crews of the squadron over the years.

The condition of the book is generally very good. The cover has one or two very minor scuffs but is clean and bright, the spine is tight and intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
