Janos Kadar was leader of the Hungary from 1956 to 1988. He came to power as head of the Hungarian communist party in the aftermath of the events in 1956 (when the reformist government of Imre Nagy was overthrown), and this book collects together speeches, articles and interviews made by Kadar between 1957 and 1982

Condition of the book is generally good. The cover has some minor scuffs and creases, and some nibbling along the edges, but the spine is intact and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound. Their is some light yellowing to the inside page edges, and the front cover curves gently upwards.
