Restive Austria, by Jeno Kostmann
Published by the Austrian Centre, 20 pages. Small Booklet - c.18cm by 12cm (S6184) No date of publication, although certainly published at some time during the Second World War, while Austria was under German occupation. The Austrian Centre was the largest organisation within the Free Austria Movement - which organised anti-Fascist Austrians in Britain during the Second World War, and this booklet outlines Austrian resistance to the Nazi's. As stated in the closing parahraphs: Austrians at the front and at home! Never forget that the worst enemy of the Austrian people is Hitler. He brings us subjection and death. he took away our Fatherland from and gave us death instead. Unite in the struggle against Hitler and his robber clique. Rise up against the criminal war. Long live Austria Condition of the booklet is generally ok. The cover has several minor scuffs, blemishes and creases, and some nibbling along the edges, but the staple spine is intact and all pages are intact and bound. Their is some light creasing to a few inside pages, and yellowing to the inside pages throughout
