Harold Sheldon was born in Warrington in 1907 and wrote these recollections shortly before his death in 1978. In the booklet he describes his childhood in Longford Street, which his grandfather helped build and where the family owned a farm, and later living in Mersey Street, where his parents ran a shop in the neighbourhood sitting by the River Mersey....

The condition of the booklet is generally excellent. The covers are clean and bright, the staple spine is intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is an old price printed on the front cover, and a small price sticker on the rear side.
