This booklet reprints a radical pamphlet by John Bellers that was originally published in 1695. Bellers was born durng the Commonwealth and carried on some of the most important traditions of the English revolution. His pamphlet on 'proposals for raising a college of industry' greatly impressed Robert Owen who printed a thousand copies of a new edition, and Karl Marx makes several references to it in his polemic work - Das Kapital
The condition of the booklet is generally very good. The cover is clean and bright, the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small amount of wear on the rear side cover where an old price is printed
