Engels, co-author of the Communist Manifesto in 1848, wrote lots of books, articles and essays that has become part the foundation for what we now regard as Marxism. His essay 'Principles of Commmunism' outlined the basic tenents of communist ideology, and was the first draft for what ultimately became the Manifesto (The final manifesto, worked on by Marx, differed considerably from this first draft)
Marxist ideology continues to be one of the dominat political orthodoxies in the modern world, and even today millions of people believe in and adhere to a Marxist interpretation of politics, society and class.
The condition of the booklet is generally ok. The cover has several scuffs and blemishes, and nibbling and wear along the edges, but the staple spine is intact and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound. Their is considerable yellowing to the inside pages throughout.
