Poll Tax Riot - 10 Hours that shook Trafalgar Square
Published by Acab Press, 70 pages. A5 size booklet (N6841PE)
From the introduction: On Saturday 31st March 200,000 people took to the streets of London to demonstrate against the Poll Tax. This demonstration ended up with a riot in the centre of London. Hundreds of police officers were injured and there were mass looting sprees throughout the West End. The day after, the capitalist media came down like a ton of bricks in an attempt to reimpose their reality, portraying the rioters' violence as sheer mindless lunacy and trying to hide the much wider support it had amongst the working class. What follows is an alternative reality, the story from the other side: the people on the streets. Now read on....
Condition of the booklet is generally very good. The cover has one or two very minor scuffs but is clean and bright, the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
