Samuel Laing (1780 – 1868) came from the Orkneys in Scotland and was a travel writer who travelled extensivly around Scandinavia and northern Germany, publishing descriptions of these countries. This books is his account of Denmark.
The condition of the book is generally very good. The cover boards have some minor scuffs and blemishes, but the spine is tight and intact and all pages are unblemished and tightly bound. There is an inscription in pen on the second inside page.
