Published by the Snodland Historical Society in 2008, 32 pages. A4 size spiral bound booklet (N4594)
Snodland is a town situated on the River Medway in the north of Kent (midway between Rochester and Maidstone), and this booklet provides a fascinating list of the men who worked and depended on the river for their livelihoods. The booklet lists over 100 men, and details their names, where and when they were born, where they lived and grew up, and their trade, as well as other biographical details where known
The booklet will thus be an invaluable help to anyone interested in genealogical research in and around Snodland, as well as people with a more general interest in the history of the town and local area....
The condition of the book is generally good. The cover has one or two very minor scuffs, but the spiral bound spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
