Published by the Trent Valley Local History Group in 1992, 60 pages. A5 size booklet. (S7514)
This booklet is a fascinating history of the tiny Nottinghamshire village of Caythorpe, which lies close to the banks of the River Trent, around ten miles north-east of Nottingham. There are chapters on the life of the poor, village families, farming, social life, Caythorpe Cricket Club, and much more!
The booklet also includes several small colour plate photographs fixed onto pages illustrating various aspects of the history of the village and its buildings
The condition of the booklet is generally good. The cover jas one or two minor scuffs and blemishes, and some light nibbling along the edges, but the staple spine is tight and intact and all pages are intect, unblemished and tightly bound
