This book provides a detailed account of the men from Manchester who fought in the 15th Battalion of the Royal Scots during the First World War.
The first part of the book (covering around two thirds of the contents) examines the history of the 15th Royal Scots during the conflict, and includes sections on recruitment, training, first overseas postings, the Somme, war cemetries, the second battle of Arras, Hargicourt, off to Flanders Field, gallantry awards, and the final year.
The final third of the book is then taken up with a detailed list of the men of Manchester who fought in the Royal Scots during the war. This list, arranged in a useful A to Z format, includes lots of information on each soldier (where known), and a couple of entries are listed below to provide an idea of the sort of information that is included.

The booklet is illustrated throughout with lots of black and white photographs and maps
Condition of the booklet is generally very good. The covers have one or two very minor scuffs, and some light wear along the edges and corners, but the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is an old price printed on the front cover and a small price sticker on the rear side
