Louis Kyezor - The King of Whitton 1796-1869, by Harold Pollins and Vic Rosewarne
Booklet published by the Twickenham Local History Society in 2002, 46 pages. A5 size booklet (N6145)
Louis Kyezor was a German born Jew who settled and lived in Whitton, an area of Twickenham in South-west London, and he became an important figure in the local community. This booklet provides a fascinating account of his life, including his role in the Rifle Volunteers, and it also examines his death (he was murdered), and his funeral.
Kyezor is still remembered in Whitton - a row of five houses on Nelson Road are still called 'Kyezor Terrace'!
Condition of the booklet is generally very good. The cover has one or two very minor scuffs and blemishes, but the staple spine is intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
