K For King - The Life and Times of a World War II Bomber Crew, by George H. Kelling

Published privately by the author in 2013. 182 pages. Spiral bound A4 booklet (A7QWSO)

This booklet provides a fascinating and immensly detailed account of a USAF crew and their B-24H liberator  bomber (which they named 'K for King'), which was based at Station 124, home of the 445th Bomb Group, located at Tibenham in Norfolk. Following damage to their aircraft, the crew were forced to bale out over occupied Europe, and they shared very different fates....

Please note this booklet was produced privately, and so lacks the finish of a more professional publication (i.e. all the photographs are of photo copy quality or worse), but none of this detracts from the fascinating contents!

The condition of the booklet is generally good. The plastic cover has a deep crease running across the bottom right hand corner, and this extends through to the first 2 inside pages. The spiral binding is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
