Published privately by Patricia Airth in 2005, 92 pages. Paperback (S6495)

This book is the fascinating diary of an officer from the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, and it covers the period of from June to August 1944, when the Allies landed in Normandy. Graham boarded an LST (an amphibious vessel known as a 'Landing Ship Tank') at Gosport on the 1st June, and by the 10th was seeing action at Juno beach, and his diary provides a fascinating insight into his experiences over the several weeks of the landings.

From the introduction: Graham wrote his wartime diary on small sheets of blue writing paperand kept it in a small zippered leather wallet which he made himself. After he died in 1996 I found it among his papers......

The book is illustrated throughout with several small black and white photographs and maps

Condition of the book is generally good. The dust jacket has some minor scuffs and blemishes, and some light nibbling and wear along the edges (including some small bumping to the top and bottom of the outside spine), but the spine itself is tight and intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound
