This slim booklet provides a a fascinating short history of the Sheffield confectionery company Bassetts, and traces the origins of the firm from the signing of George Bassett's indenture of apprenticeship in 1832 all the way up to the 1950's.
The condition of the booklet is generally ok. The cover has several scuffs, and light nibbling, creasing and wear along the edges and corners, and there is also considerable colour bleaching and staining along the left and top edges (this is most noticeable on the front cover, but is also present on the rear side). Inside the staple spine is intact and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound.
