Published by Royal Air Force Station Marham in 1983, 20 pages. Large A4 size booklet (S6999)
This booklet provides a history of Air to Air refuelling at RAF Marham. Marham has been the base for the RAF's Air Tanker Force since it was formed in 1958, and the booklet charts its origins and development from that time up to the date of publication (in the early 1980's). The booklet is illustrated throughout with several small black and white photographs, as well as two full page schematic diagrams showing the construction and design of the British Aerospace VC10 K Mk 2, and the Lockheed Tristar 500
Condition of the booklet is generally poor, but is perfect as a reading copy or reference for study. The cover has lots of scuffs, blemishes and creases, and nibbling and wear along the edges, but the staple spine is intact, and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound. Their is a small 2cm nic along the bottom of the first inside page, and light yellowing to the inside pages throughout.
