Highwood Green Street Names
Published by the Marden History Group, 18 pages. A5 size pamphlet (N6388X1)
Marden is a village in Kent, and lies several miles south of Maidstone, and this short pamphlet provides a brief account of the origins behind the names chosen for the streets, roads, ways and closes of the new Highwood Green estate. These men all fought in the First World War, including Royal Flying Corps pilot Sidney W. Highwood, after whom the estate is named. Other names covered include Gaskin Way, Gurr Walk, Heasman Close, Mayes Road, Packham Drive, Reader Drive, Russell Road, and Tippen Way.
The condition of the pamphlet is generally very good. The cover has one or two very minor scuffs but is clean and tidy, the staple spine is intact and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound. Has a small price sticker on rear side cover
