From the introduction: This is the story of the 7th Lancashire Fusiliers, a Territorial battalion that had its headquarters alongside its sister battalion, the 8th, at Cross Lane in Salford. It deals with the battalion's service from the outbreak of war in August 1914 and covers its time in Egypt and then Gallipoli, finishing in December 1915.
The first two thirds of the book provides a detailed chronological account of the battalion over this period, and information on many of the soldiers involved in the battles and campaigns, whilst the remainder of the book is a list of the men who served with the 1/7th Lancashire Fusiliers in 1914 and 1915
The booklet is illustrated throughout with lots of black and white photographs and maps
Condition of the booklet is generally very good. The covers have one or two very minor scuffs, and some light wear along the edges and corners, but the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is an old price printed on the front cover and a small price sticker on the rear side
