Great Britain & Hanover, Some Aspects of the Personal Union, by A.W. Ward

Published by Oxford in 1899, 218 pages. Hardback (S4162Y)

A very rare assessment of early British Hanoverian history, with chapters on:

  • The Settlement
  • The Foreign Policy of George I (1714-21)
  • The Foreign Policy of George I & II (1721-42)
  • Hanover, Austria and Prussia (1742-56)
  • Kloster Zeven and Suhlingen

Condition of the book is generally a little poor, but it is perfect as a reading copy or reference for study. The cover boards have several scuffs and blemishes, and some nibbling and bumping along the edges,as well as some tape runing along the bottom half, but the spine itself is intact and all pages are intact and tightly bound. Ex librtary, with labels on the inside front cover and first inside page, and stamps on the first page (which is also clipped in the top right hand corner), the publishing details page and very last page. Their is also some yellowing to the inside pages throughout
