This booklet is an excellent short history of John Lambert, who became an important figure in the Parliamentarian army during the English Civil War. A Yorkshireman, Lambert first saw action at Tadcaster in 1642, and a year later was promoted to Colonel - by the age of 28 he had attained the rank of Major General!
Condition of the booklet is generally excellent. The cover is clean and tidy, the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and bound.
