Flockton is a village in the Kirklees area of West Yorkshire, and is situated around halfway between Huddersfield and Wakefield. This book collects together newspaper articles and photographs relating to the village and its people, and they date from the early 1980's all the way back to the 1950's and beyond!. Many of the photographs included show the people of the village, and the articles are all presumably taken from local newspapers, and offer a fascinating snapshot of local life!
The condition of the booklet is generally ok. The cover has some minor scuffs and blemishes, and some light nibbling along the edges, but the spine is intact, and all pages are intact, unblemished and bound.
Please not that this booklet was published privately, and so has an 'amateur' feel to it (most pages and photographs look like they have been produced using a photocopier. But the quality of the pages does not detract from the fascinating contents!)
