Two albums were found in the attic of the home of the late Bill Morrison of St Agnes, Cornwall. How they came to be there is a mystery. The photographs - collected by Reginald Bernard Ivey B.E.M., a Reconnaissance Pilot in the First World War - include images of Yatesbury, fellow service personnel, aerial images of southern England, early military aircraft, aircraft crashes, early Royal Navy ships and submarines, as well as tourist images of Egypt. It is believed many of the photographs were taken by Reginald himself. Diligently researched by Neil Roberts and professionally re-touched and designed by Perran Tremewan, the book provides a unique insight into military flying training in southern England during World War One....
