This book is a detailed biography of Florence Nightingale, widely regarded as one of the founders of modern nursing, and it was published 27 years after her death.
Condition of the book is generally good. The blue cover boards have some minor scuffs, and light wear and bumping along the edges and corners, but the spine is intact and all pages are intact and bound. There is considerable foxing to the outside page leaves and first and last few inside pages, and an inscription (dated 1941) in the top right hand corner of the first inside page.
