Eynsford Paper Mill, by W.G. Duncombe

Published by the Farningham & Eynsford Local History Society in 2001, 47 pages. A4 Size Booklet (N7004)

From the introduction: On a fine April day in 1984 an Eynsford landmark disappeared. A tall chimney that had stood for more than a century, visible in the Darent valley and from the surrounding hills, was felled. The buildings of the former paper mill went too, except for the Mill House, home to generations of corn millers and papermakers, Soon little remained of something that had been a part of Eynsford for some 350 years, and perhaps for centuries more. This publication is an attempt to record the history of the various uses of the mill site and some of the memories of people and their parents and grandparents who had worked there.

The condition of the booklet is generally ok. The cover has some minor scuffs and creases, rusting around the staples, and some light scratching and wear along the right hand edge, but the staple spine is intact and all pages are intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is an old printed on the front cover.
