Published by Histoire et Societe D'Aujourd'Hui Editions de la Baconniere, in 1951. 363 pages. Paperback - c.15cm by 21.5cm (A34N3WSO)
This book was published in France and all text is in French.
Includes a handwritten letter that was stored inside the book -a single piece of paper folded along the left hand edge, with text in French on two sides, dated 1951 and signed by E????? Joseph Beck. I can't make out the first name beginning with E, but under the 'Note des Editeurs' a Madame E Joseph Beck is listed, and I wonder if this might have been his wife?
The condition of the book is generally ok. The covers have some scuffs and blemishes, and nibbling and wear along the edges and corners, but the spine is intact and all pages are intact and bound. There is considerable yellowing to the inside pages throughout, and some page edges have been left uncut from the time of publication.
