The Red Army Faction was an underground revolutionary organization devoted to carrying out armed attacks within the Federal Republic of Germany, with a view to establishing a tradition of illegal, guerilla resistance to imperialism and state repression, and in 1977 undertook a campaign of agitation and violence that resulted in Hijackings and many deaths (including several members of the RAF themselves). This booklet charts the history and course of that campaign, and includes a brief assessment of the movement in the years after.....
