This booklet provides a fascinating local history of Copper Milling on the river Wandle in Mitcham, and especially on the section of the river flowing through Mitcham and Merton. The river flowed through the Surrey village of Mitcham, which is now an area of South London neighbouring Morden and Wimbledon, and sections in the booklet include:

  • The beginning of the Wandle Industry
  • The Merton Mill
  • The Mitcham Copper Mills
  • The copper mill at the end of Willow Lane
  • Copper Mills in the rest of the Wandle Valley

The condition of the booklet is generally very good. The cover is clean and tidy, the staple spine is intact, and all pages are clean, inatct, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small price sticker on the rear side cover
